About (biog.):

Robert Percy is a London-based composer. His music, comprising over 50 works, is for a wide range of instrumental and vocal ensembles and for mixed/digital media. It has been performed extensively in the UK, as well as in Europe and the United States, and has been broadcast on BBC Radio 3. Robert gained his PhD in composition at City University, London, where he currently lectures in composition and orchestral/instrumental studies. Initially, he trained as an engineering draughtsman before becoming a jazz guitarist. He has participated in composer-based education projects, including Deal Festival and Soundinventors (SPNM, PRS), and has worked with a range of musicians, ensembles, choreographers, and film makers.
